Get your SAP webdispatcher an Opensource Free SSL Certificate

You are planning to use SAP Webdispatcher for your SAP landscape with HTTPS endpoints. You can use a commercial certificate authority or use an opensource certificate authority https://letsencrypt.org/

You can install certbot using python pip

# pip install certbot

Here is my part of webdispatcher, which basically controls virtual hosts

You should see the ssl certs in the directory /etc/letsencrypt.

Download the root cert of letsencrypt as root.crt

Now that you have your certificate in the web-dispatcher you should have your SAP web-apps running with SSL certificate.
